Natalie

A new school year has begun, and Natalie wonders who the new girl coming to third grade will be. She and the other girls in her class had always been such good friends … Natalie wasn’t so sure a new girl would fit in the group, but she knew she should be friendly. How will events unfold in the third grade classroom, which lessons are there to be learned, and what happens when Natalie’s family tries to escape the heat by making an outing to the seashore?

The Wonder of Christmas

Leah and Melissa are traveling through the night to reach their grandparents’ house in time for Christmas. Brent is nervous because he has to play an organ piece at a Christmas concert. Mark and Meghan have a secret. The children in this book have many things that happen to them. They all happen around Christmas time. Christmas is a busy time, and everywhere you look, the world seems to be celebrating. It is easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas. It isn’t at all a celebration of pretty lights and colorful gifts, nor is it “just” a Bible story. What is a true Christmas? What is the wonder of Christmas? Have you ever thought about it? It is so easy to get carried along with the cheer and fun all around. It is my hope that this book of stories will help you to think about some of these very important things.

The Hasty Promise

Cherie Mason is almost fifteen and a sophomore in high school. Because of her attitude, she at times makes it difficult for herself.

Cherie adores the handicapped Mike in the hospital as well as the adorable daughters of the not so liked Mr. Fayson. For that reason she is called the teacher’s pet. Nasty comments are thrown at her. When the boys in the class want to take revenge, Cherie is hasty to make a promise.

This promise gives her plenty of trouble, especially when her conscience begins to speak. However, she has to keep her promise.
