A Great Miracle in a Small Mountain Village
This story takes place a long time ago, in a small village that lies in a valley between the mountains in Germany. The people who live here are poor. Walter lives in this village, but his father is no longer living, so his mother must work on a farm.
One day something horrible happens, and it brings great sadness to Walter’s family. They become very poor and almost run out of food, but the Lord takes care of them. He works a great miracle for Walter’s family. The God of Elijah is still alive! This book is written for children four years old and older.
Alisha fastens the clasps on her autograph book and puts it on the picnic table. She skips along with Grandpa toward the doghouse, but she sees Grandpa’s worried look as he checks the darkening sky. “Do you think we’ll have a…a…” What was that word again? “…a tornado?” she asks with a shiver.
